2026 Recital

Dress Rehearsal at The Egg

Dancers can bring peanut-free, non-messy snacks & water only.

All costumes must be labeled with your dancer's name and the name of the dance on the hanger with painters tape (SEE ATTACHMENT) Please see website "Recital 2026" tab, for names of dances and costume info. 

 

DROP-OFF PROCEDURE

When you arrive, you will check your dancer in and a class helper will escort them backstage. Parents are welcome to leave and return for the start of the recital.

·      All dancers must arrive dressed and ready in their first costume of the dress rehearsal (This will also be their first dance in the recital).

·      If your dancer is in Big Ballet, please have them arrive in their Big Ballet costume. They will change in their dressing rooms with class helpers during their break for their first dance of the recital.

Dancers will remain in the same costume and shoes for the entire dress rehearsal. The purpose of rehearsal is simply for the dancers to get a feel for the stage.

 

ARRIVAL TIMES

11:30 AM: All Monday & Thursday classes (except Twirling Tots Mon 4:00–4:30 PM)

12:45 PM: Twirling Tots (Mon 4:00–4:30 PM) & Adult Tap (Thurs 7:45–8:45 PM)

 

DRESS REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

*THESE ARE NOT ARRIVAL TIMES, this is when they start rehearsing their dance. Arrival time is 11:30 AM for all Monday and Thursday classes. 

*If Kids Hip Hop AND Open Class are your only dances, please arrive in your Open Class costume 

11:45 PM – Big Ballet

12:05 PM – Kids Ballet (Mon 4:30–5:00 PM)

12:11 PM – Kids Tap (Mon 5:30–6:00 PM)

12:17 PM – Kids Jazz (Mon 6:30–7:00 PM)

12:23 PM – Kids Lyrical (Mon 5:00–5:30 PM)

12:29 PM – Kids Acro (Mon 6:00–6:30 PM)

12:37 PM – Kids Hip Hop (Thurs 4:30-5:00)

12:43 PM – Kids Hip Hop (Mon 7:00-7:30)

12:49 PM - Open Class (Mon 7:30–8:00 PM)

 

1:00 PM – Twirling Tots (Mon & Thurs 4:00–4:30 PM)

1:06 PM – Adult Tap (Thurs 7:45–8:45 PM)

 

DURING THE RECITAL

All dancers (except Twirling Tots) will sit in the student seating area with class helpers until the end of the show.

Twirling Tots ONLY: After the 6th number of the recital, class helpers will escort them to the left side of the stage (when facing the stage) for parent pick-up.

You may bring your dancer to the backstage area for final bows at the end of the recital. After bows, a class helper will bring your dancer to the "Drop-Off & Pick-Up" area in the lobby. 

 

INTERMISSION

Intermission will be a strict 10 minutes. All dancers will be preparing for their next routine or final bows during intermission. Dancers should remain in their dressing rooms and should not go into the audience or lobby at this time.

 

PICK-UP AT END OF RECITAL

At the end of the show, class helpers will escort dancers back to the lobby/concessions area.

Please look for the "Drop-Off & Pick-Up" sign to meet your dancer there.

REMINDER: Tickets are on sale at the box office at The Egg. You do NOT need to purchase a ticket for your dancer performing in the recital.  

 

AUDIENCE MEMBERS

The concession and lobby area is open at 1:00 PM, doors open to the stage at 1:30 PM
